I have noticed in the past couple of weeks that my skin has been improving loads! My skin can change so easily depending on the food I eat, the amount of exercise I do and what my sleep pattern is like.
Normally I will eat a good balance of healthy home cooked meals, chocolate and takeaways but if I have more chocolate or too many takeaways I will notice it in my skin because I will just break-out pretty quickly!
Also when I'm at school I do quite a substantial amount on exercise because I do dance 5-6 times a week and I also do one lesson of fitness at school every week, so usually when I go on school holidays within the first week or so my skin again just breaks-out!
Another thing that has a huge impact on my skin is my sleep pattern, at school I usually try to go to sleep between 10:30 and 11pm which gives me 8 hours sleep, but if I start going to bed later and don't get 8 hours sleep my skin goes quite dry and eventually, yep you guessed it, I break-out!
But I don't think keeping these 3 things balanced is enough to have clear hydrated skin, so I have a skin care routine which I have decided to show you:
1. Garnier Pure Active Intensive
I use this every other day in the shower and just rub it into my skin then rinse my face. This is the cleanser I am currently using, I try out loads of different cleansers but this has been my favorite so far. I bought it from the supermarket for just under £5. I feel like as soon as I start rubbing it into my skin I can feel it instantly working. Also another great thing about it is that you don't need to squirt much out to feel it working.
2. Vitamin E Hydrating Toner
I use this after I have been in the shower, I just dab a bit onto a cotton pad and wipe it all over my face. I have been using the Vitamin E range from The Body Shop for a few years now and I love it so much! I can really feel it hydrating my skin and again I use this every other day. The toner on it's own £8.50
3. Vitamin E Moisture Cream
I use this after the toner has dried and put on a generous amount so that it can sink into my skin slowly. Again this is from the Vitamin E range from The Body Shop and I have been using the moisturiser a bit longer than the toner. The moisturiser on it's own is £11. Recently I have been getting the set which includes the vitamin E cleanser (which I don't actually use), toner, moisture cream and night serum which I have no idea how much that costs but I usually get one for Christmas and one for my birthday.
I hope you found this interesting and maybe helpful if you were looking for a new skin care routine?
If anyone has any skin care tips please feel free to comment!

My New Year's Resolutions
I know, I know this is such a cliche post but I never make New Years Resolutions and this year I've decided that maybe setting myself targets will be a great thing for me!
I have made 3 resolutions:
1. To be happy,
I have found over the past year or so that I could never be completely happy, like no matter what I was doing I never felt completely happy or content. But then I realised that maybe I was trying too hard? It's the simple things in life that can make you happy such as: A cup of tea and youtube videos or going round to see my family or laughing at something so much with your best friend (well these make me happy anyway) . So instead of stressing about every little thing in life I've decided to enjoy the little things that make me smile as and when they come.
2. To eat more healthily,
I don't mean i'm going to go on a strict nothing but fruit and veg diet, because I do eat a pretty good balanced diet (with a slightly higher balance of chocolate) all except fruit. I never eat fruit which I know is really bad for me but I just don't pick it up and eat it! I have no idea why because I do like the taste of fruit! I have the odd bit here and there - maybe a cheeky strawberry from fridge- but I definitely don't have 5 pieces of fruit a day!
So to improve this in the new year I am going to make a real effort to bring fruit back into my diet. One of the ways I am planning on doing this is by having a homemade fruit smoothie everyday. I have made smoothies before and they were delicious but i have never been consistent with them. In the new year maybe I'll do a post on the smoothies I make?
3. To live for today not tomorrow,
The other day this old man came up to me in Sainsburys and started talking to me about this subject and saying how i shouldn't stress about the future and just live for today and that i should have as much fun as I can. This really put things into perspective for me and made me realise that I do stress about the future a lot more than I should and sometimes this can make me forget what amazing things are happening right now, then before I know it these amazing things are in the past.
One of the main things that I can relate this to at the moment are my GCSE exams coming up in 2015 and I know I need to prepare for these but I shouldn't let them take over my life! I find that i'm always thinking about them even when i'm trying to enjoy myself. So i'm going to make the most of what is happening today and not in the future.
I hope you enjoyed reading about my New Years Resolutions, and I would love to know what any of your resolutions are? Also what are the small things that make you happy?

Inspirations
Inspirations,
It's funny how such small things in life can influence everyday things we do and the decisions we make. For example me deciding to make this blog!
Many things have inspired me to make this decision and I would love to talk to anyone who decides to read this (if any) about what really inspires me and in particular what inspired me to create this blog.
1. One of my biggest inspirations in my life at the moment is youtuber Zoe Sugg (aka Zoella). She originally just had her inspiring blog but now has an amazing youtube channel on top of this. I find that she always instantly calms me and makes me smile when I watch her videos or read her blog posts and I'm sure this is the same for a lot of us teenage girls?
So seeing how much Zoe has grown into such a strong woman through writing her blog posts has really inspired me to - clearly not become a massive youtube sensation- but to be able to right down my thoughts, experiences and advice and also learn from others reading or also writing blog posts.
2. Also I have recently read the book 'Girl Online' written by Zoe Sugg (see this is how much she inspires me) which is about a teenage girl called Penny who starts her own blog writing about her life problems and experiences. This really helps Penny to get her problems which are bottled up inside her to be released, she also loves hearing peoples responses to her problems and knowing that she's not the only one facing them. After reading the book it made me think that maybe getting my thoughts written down and out of my brain might just be the thing for me.
3. Another thing that really inspires me is my friendship group. I am part of a friendship group at school of about 9 girls, which as you can guess doesn't always go smoothly, but having so many different characters and opinions I find is really inspiring it really makes me look at things from different perspectives. I admit that I could sometimes feel very lonely even though I was in such a big group of girls, it would feel like they just wouldn't even notice me sometimes but then recently I came to realise that I have to put myself out there when there is so many of us or I will go unnoticed, so from that experience I learnt just to be myself and not get hidden beneath other peoples personalities.

I hope that someone even if it is just one person reads this and finds it interesting, I would also love to hear about other peoples inspirations too!
Hope to see you in my next post,
Georgia xx
